On Friday, CNBC’s Jim Cramer expressed his belief that the generative artificial intelligence (AI) trend is just beginning, and stocks associated with AI still have more growth potential. The CEO of Amazon, Andy Jassy, stated that AI would generate tens of billions of dollars for the company’s web services in the future. Cramer believes that any pullback in AI stocks will likely encourage buyers to invest. He emphasized that generative AI is a transformative technology that will impact how people work and approach challenges. Cramer highlighted Microsoft as a leader in the AI space, owning half of OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT. Unlike some other companies, Microsoft is already profiting from its AI venture called Co-pilot. Cramer also mentioned Nvidia as a significant player in AI, with CEO Jensen Huang being prepared for the AI trend. Cramer’s discussions with individuals in Seattle have led him to believe that AI is just beginning to gain momentum, despite some sceptics claiming it is already too large.
